Top 5: Spider-Men
July 3, 2012 11:29 am This is a good list.
I am really enjoying the praise that Spidey 2099 is receiving. When i showed it to some of my friends when it came out (I was/ am still the only one of my friends who is a comic fanatic) thier first comment was not "this is awesome" or "his costume is badass" it was "Why is Spider-man mexican?"
What a good comic
Also just want to quickly agree with most people's sentiments about Ben Reily. Clone Saga was definitely a little silly and I always have fun trying to explain it to people. I usually just skip to the end where Ben Reily is actually a dust monster in a human's body and will scatter into the wind if you hit him hard enough with a glider.

Remake & Reboot: BATMAN & THE OUTSIDERS Comic Series
June 7, 2012 3:47 pm I like the idea of not having Batman at first, like they did in the outsiders reboot a few years back (which was awesome by the way) but reintroducing him at the end , having him stick around for a few issues, and then have it become Damian and the Outsiders.
could be legit. Damian is a bit of a loose cannon, perfect to head up a team (even if he is only 12)

SHOCKER! Warner Bros. Reportedly Developing Justice League Film
June 6, 2012 10:48 am I dislike any setup that doesn't have Martianb Manhunter in it. He is in almost every incarnation of the JLA. Besides that, since he is so unknown, what a better way to introduce people to him then in a movie that has characters they already know and love. Also, he is generally a badass.
They should also do the original JLA origin story with the Appelaxians. That makes it really easy to intoriduce each character on thier own and then have them come together to fight as cohesive unit, leading ultimately into the end where they meet in the Satellite and have the first meeting, insgina-branded chairs and all, while looking at picture os new members to recruit i.e. Firestorm, Atom, Green Arrow etc..., which in turn leads into the sequel (set up by an after credits scene of course)
I also have to mention taht when I was thinking about the JLA movie, I thought about the inevitable sequels and triquels taht would result from this. I soon started chucking thinking about the movie version of the JLA stationed in Happy Harbor....

A Few Thoughts On Villains and Villiany
June 5, 2012 2:08 pm I think that is these eye catching moments (Joker and Barbara, Reverse Flash and Iris, Joker and Jason Todd, and who can forgot the resounding snap from the panel in which Bane breaks batmans back) that keeps alot of people reading comics.
The overall story is lots of time confusing, hard to keep track of, and often times monotonous and boring. But, it is the villains who really drive the story. The villains who stick around and have the best chances of wining in comics are the ones who go beyond what is acceptable for a normal villain.
And it is also this testing of moral fiber that makes for a good story about superheroes. how many times have batman or superman been on the verge of killing someone, the one thing that they both dont do, only to stop themselves at the last moment? These moments define them, and maybe one day they will kill someone, not alternate reality bullcrap, but full on main story arc. I dout it will happen, but it would be interesting to see who turns out to be the villain in the end.

PREVIEW: The New Avengers #25
March 29, 2012 8:40 pm Dark phoenix is awesome
Iron FIst is underrated and equally as awesome
I want to echo the fact that up to this point I was only mildly interested in a xmen/avengers fight, but the point where Bendis decided to include dark phoenix was the moment where he probably sold this idea to every comic book reader out there.
For anyone who has the mildest amount of comic book knowledge knows that when teh Dark Phoenix is invovled, s**t is about to get real.
